Questions about church?

Our Sunday mornings begin from 10am with refreshments and a chance to chat before the service starts at 10.30am. Services usually include around 30 minutes of modern worship music with a band, bible readings and prayer, and then a relevant and inspiring sermon. We normally finish around 12pm. You're very welcome to simply come along and take things at your own pace.

Whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people dress casually, others a little smarter - there's no dress code and no expectation to look a certain way.

No. You're welcome to join in as much or as little as you'd like. Nobody will put you on the spot or expect you to speak publicly. Many people simply come and observe when visiting for the first time.

There is street parking available outside and within walking distance of the church. If you have mobility needs or questions before visiting, please feel free to contact us.

Yes - Shoreham baptist church is fully wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets and baby changing facilities available onsite. If you have any additional accessibility questions, we'd be happy to help.

Yes - we have a creche available for babies aged 18 months and older and children's groups for ages 4-16 available during our Sunday services. Groups involve bible teaching and lots of fun and games! Families are very welcome, and we understand that children don't always sit still or stay quiet!

Absolutely. Some people like to chat and get involved straight away, while others prefer to sit quietly and take everything in first. Both are completely fine. There's no pressure and no expectations placed on visitors.
