1: Christmas Treasure Hunt 2015

Saturday 12th Dec: 10am to 12.30pm.  The hunt will occur in Shoreham town center, in East Street & St Mary’s church yard; in, with and around the Christmas Farmers’ Market.

There will be prizes for all who complete the treasure hunt + a grand prize of a £25 ‘Toast by the Coast’ voucher.

There will also be a real live donkey – kindly ‘stabled’ by our friends at St Mary’s – in the fresh air near the church entrance.

Invite to next CAP course

Are you interested/concerned/worried/terrified about your money? The credit card bill a bit of a shock? Why not come on the next CAP money management course.  Free for all people in Shoreham and surrounding areas!

No matter what your financial situation is, the CAP Money Course can benefit you. The tools that are taught on the CAP money course are vital life skills, so whether you are financially well off or not, self-employed, on benefits or in debt the course is for you.


4: Line dancing evening [14 Nov]

Come along to the line dancing evening on Saturday 14th November, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 shout out!

Tickets are £2.50 which includes food.

Children can come along for free.

5: Free Community Harvest Supper in October

Come along to a community Harvest Supper - completely free, on Saturday 17th October.  7pm to 10pm.

Three courses, live music and child friendly!

6: Notice: Egg & Toast & Fridge Groups

Egg on Toast and The Fridge begins again in September.

We have a slightly different set up this term in that Egg on Toast will be
for Key Stage 1 children (R yr1 yr2) and The Fridge will be for Key Stage 2
Children (yrs 3-6).

This hopefully will balance the numbers in the groups a bit better. Sadly
for The Fridge we will still have a bit of a waiting list though.

You will have written confirmation by email or post that your child has a
place for either group

Egg on Toast begins on the 18th September and also; Oct 2nd & 16th, Nov 6th

9: Men: FA Cup final on 30th May

Watch Arsenal thrash Aston Villa ... or maybe the other way round

Kickoff is at 5.30 pm

We will be starting at 5pm with a BBQ with Burgers/Hot Dogs £1 each

Water, tea and coffee provided, otherwise bring your own beverage of choice.

10: Church Walk and Picnic on Saturday 9th May

Walk from Shoreham Baptist along the coast path to Lancing Green passing Widewater with Picnic at the Green [near big car park].

Meeting at the church at 10.30 am (to leave by 10.45 am); some people may want to start at Widewater car park at 11.00am, so meeting us on the way
Take your own picnic.

Walk back or bus back!!!

If the weather is wet, we will still meet at church for picnic and indoor games.
