Pastoral Care Course

Ron & Sue Neate are starting a Pastoral Care course about this vital part of the church life. This has been over a year in planning and is developed with the Association of Christian Counsellors.
We urge everyone to think about coming. We are all called to help each other and friends and visitors - not maybe as experts, but at least with a sound background.
There will be an introductory meeting on Thursday 11th February 2010 at 7.45pm. This is an open, without obligation evening to give anyone interested, more detail about the scope of the course, what’s involved and what’s required. After which those wishing to sign up can do so at the time or take the following week to pray & consider before deciding.
Course details: We are planning to hold training sessions on 2nd & 4th Thursday evenings, commencing in February. There will also be two Saturday mornings in order to complete all sessions by the end of June. There is also a requirement for some student work outside of the training sessions.
